Art Havenner, Ph.D.
Professor Art Havenner is Professor of Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis. He enjoys a stellar academic career, publishing in such journals as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Econometrics, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics & Control, with expertise in many diverse areas of analysis. These include finance, econometrics, macro-economics, forecasting, agricultural economics, and applied micro-economics. In particular, he has intimate knowledge of the wine industry, and has handled complex statistical problems involving large databases. Prior to coming to U.C. Davis, he was on the faculty of New York University and served as a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C.
